THIS SAME ANCHOR CAN BE INSTALLED IN THE FOLLOWING METHODS:

IMPACT WRENCH

MANUALLY

DIGGER/DERRICK TRUCK

What makes this such an effective anchor? It’s the patented method of compressing dirt between the top two flights!  As the bottom two discs pull the anchor into the ground, the top disc is compressing the dirt creating a wedging effect as it gets pulled into the ground thus creating instant compaction and immediate holding power. The patented locking action prevents the anchor from unscrewing or backing out when tension is applied.

Available in 3/4" and 1” rod with 4’ 5’ 6’ 7’ 8’ 9’ lengths.

The reusable no-wrench SAF-T-ANCHOR can be quickly and
easily installed by using an impact wrench (4’-5’) or high torque power (6’-9’).

Advantages:
1) The top flight dissipates electric current adding life to the anchor

2) Can be installed and removed easily by one person (with impact or manually)

3) More holding power at less depth

4)
Less time to install depending on soil conditions

5)
Can be used as a permanent or temporary anchor

6)
Anchor will not deteriorate due to electrolysis if copper coated

7)
Guy wire tensioning can be done by screwing anchor in ground

8)
70% less torque to install than a 10” helix anchor with an 8’-3/4” rod

During a pull test the 48" SAF-T-ANCHOR was pulled out of the ground using an anchor pulling device to view the amount of compaction created during installation.  As can be seen by the pictures below, the section of dirt between the 4" and the 6" flight was compacted tremendously more than the dirt sitting on the top flight.  The aggitated and loose dirt sitting on the top 6" flight is what is normally found when installing a helix anchor where no compaction is taking place.  This is the most effective no-wrench anchor on the market!
