 Easily drive 8-foot ground rods with the
attached guiding system


When driving 8-foot ground rods:  First, slide the guide and offset cleat onto the rod about 4’ from ground level.  Second, begin driving while standing parallel to the rod.  Third, as the cleat moves closer to the ground, slide it up in 2-foot increments.  Fourth, when the top of the rod is approximately 3-4’ above ground level, remove the offset cleat and  place the SAF-T-DRIVER on top of the rod to finish driving it in.

Uses manual downward force applied by the user.


Example:  
A ground rod is driven 6” per drive in top soil/sandy loam, 3”
per drive in clay and 2” per drive in shale.    


NOTE: Both models will not harm the driving surface because it is encapsulated within the shaft of the driver.
