| "THE BOX" is used to prevent the theft of electricty at the meter and destruction or damage to the meter and meter base. In some instances, a customer will attempt to modify the meter in order to obtain electricty without paying for it.
"THE BOX" will prevent access to the meter. The window on the front will allow the meter reader to access the meter and obtain the meter reading.
Sometimes the meter will be vandalized. "THE BOX" will competely protect the meter from being damaged. It attaches directly to the meter base. The locking mechanism slides behind the meter base and the box attaches to the bar, which holds the box in place.
"THE BOX" has been field tested for three (3) years and the results have been trememdous. Companies have realized cost savings by using this device in labor (sending out employees to replace damaged equipment) and in equipment replacement (no longer replacing a meter because of vandalism). Prevents terminating electrical service at the pole or at the electrical transformer, which saves time and money!
