In the pictures above, the Ver-T-Lift is being used as both a confined space safety device while the employee is in the manhole and also to raise and lower equipment and materials into the manhole.

With the dual winch line attachments on the lifting arm, you can use multiple winches, one to attached to the harness while the employee is in the manhole and another to attach to the equipment (jackhammer) or to the material being lowered and raised (bucket of lining material).

Note that the employee is raised completely out of the manhole, unlike the tripod style where you can only raise the employee partially out of the manhole.

In the pictures above, ODT is removing three (3) pump motors for Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Each motor weighed approximately 600 pounds.  Because of the orientation of the room, the motors were right up against the wall and there is grating on the accessible side of the motors which kept them from being rolled out once they were removed.

ODT set the Ver-T-Lift up inside the room, hooked the Saf-T-Lift to the motor and raised the motor up. With the swiveling arm, the motor swung above the pipes and was lowered to the floor.  There was little to no physical effort in the removal of these motors and the complete operation took approximately two (2) hours.

The Ver-T-Lift with the roof top attachment is used to lower an 800 pound motor off the top of this 4 story hospital.  This total operation took approximately 2 hours.

The roof top model of the Ver-T-Lift was used to lift a solid wood table weighing approximately 300 pounds to the 3rd floor deck.  The front legs were not used in order to allow the arm to reach out over the edge of the building and lift the table up and swing it over to the deck area.

The strength and versitility of the Ver-T-Lift changed an impossibility into a reality for a very good friend and made her very happy!

Ver-T-Lift used on flood plain manhole
The Ver-T-Lift can be used without the back legs, a locking bar is used to keep the arm from swiveling past the midway point.  The Ver-T-Lift can be used to remove the manhole lid and for confined space entry/fall protection on flood plain manholes, there is no other device like the Ver-T-Lift on the market!  The lifting arm extends to 14 feet and with the optional extension kit, it will extend to 20 feet.
